The first is to weaken Russia.
The European Union has a clear plan of action to establish peace in Ukraine, which consists of only two points: the first is to weaken Russia, the second - to support Ukraine.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas said this, reports "European Pravda" from Brussels.
Kallas outlined a simple EU plan for peace: support Ukraine and pressure to weaken Russia.
"The European Union has always supported a just, lasting and comprehensive peace. Today, of course, we discussed the latest developments and Minister Sibiga briefed us on Ukraine's position," Callas said.
She noted that the EU's position has not changed: "for any peace plan to succeed, it must be supported by Ukraine and Europe." "The EU has a very clear two-point plan. First, to weaken Russia. Second, support Ukraine," the EU's top diplomat stressed.
Callas said that today the head of the European Intelligence Center and the EU's sanctions envoy briefed ministers on the impact of EU sanctions on Russia.
The data show that Russia's crude oil exports are the lowest in months and Russia's tax revenues from oil are the lowest since the war began. "Russia has repeatedly talked hypocritically about peace talks, and previous talks have failed because Russia never made any real commitments. The pressure should be on the aggressor, not the victim," said Kaya Kallas.
