Poland Launched Operation Horizon To Protect Critical Infrastructure

It involves up to 10,000 military personnel.

From midnight on November 21, Poland launched Operation Horizon, aimed at strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure.

According to RMF24.

The operation was launched from the beginning of Friday afternoon, and will involve up to 10,000 troops, with various equipment, including UAVs and helicopters. Units from the army, tera defense, special operations forces, police, the railroad protection service and others will be involved.

Actions are concentrated primarily in places where the risk of potential attacks is considered highest.

The operation is in response to two recent cases of railroad sabotage, in which Ukrainian citizens are suspected of collaborating with Russian security services and fleeing after the sabotage to Belarus.

After that, Poland decided to close the last functioning Russian consulate in Gdansk.

Poland is also demanding that Lukashenko's regime extradite the Ukrainians suspected of sabotage.
