The parties are coordinating joint steps.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has expressed condolences to Ukrainians over the missile attack by Russian occupants on residential high-rise buildings in Ternopil and discussed the peace plan proposed by the United States to Kiev.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this on November 21 following a conversation with the Alliance Secretary General.

"Spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Mark expressed condolences in connection with the terrible Russian attack on Ternopil. Thirty-one people died, among them six children. Search and rescue work at the site of this tragedy is still ongoing," the Ukrainian head of state said.

President Zelensky said, "Ukrainians more than anyone else in the world want an end to this war, an end to the killing and a dignified peace."

"We discussed the available diplomatic opportunities and the plan proposed by the American side. We are ready to work quickly and constructively to make it work. We are coordinating joint next steps. Thank you for your support!", - the Ukrainian head of state summarized.
