The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded from district police officers to "more actively take care" of people who do not work.
The head of the Interior Ministry Ivan Kubrakov has demanded that district police inspectors be more active in checking people who do not work. "All those who do not work, especially in rural areas, should be worked over by district police inspectors," the minister declared.
"The efforts of internal affairs bodies in general allow to influence the behavior of citizens. However, it is obvious that there is unrealized potential," said the head of the Interior Ministry. - Those who do not study and do not work, still commit more than half of the crimes. Mostly property crimes, which is explained by their desire to obtain means of subsistence. All persons registered with us should work.
The Minister said that district inspectors should check those who do not work.
"All those who do not work, especially in rural areas, should be worked by district police inspectors," said Ivan Kubrakov. - You will immediately see if this person is engaged in commerce and does not pay taxes, or if this person is a drunkard who has not been in our field of vision, he must be under our control. Every single person, I repeat, all those who are registered on prevention, on the line of criminal-executive inspection, they must all be employed.
Namonim, November 21, the Interior Ministry said that they want to introduce administrative responsibility for some of the population for "failure to fulfill the obligations of employment and treatment". We're talking about those who were in a therapeutic labor preventorium and are registered with the police.
In Belarus, the police continue to fight against "idleness" - the unemployed are summoned to the meetings of commissions on "dependents" and attracted to community service. Meanwhile, some of those who refused to show up for such events have been subjected to administrative punishment. Earlier, the police warned that they could punish with a fine or even arrest those who ignore their invitations for employment.
Earlier, January 21, this year, Alexander Lukashenko said that it's necessary to more actively attract those who don't work to the labor market. He paid special attention to Minsk.
