Lukashenko allegedly "pardoned them in agreement with Trump."
Alexander Lukashenko has pardoned 31 citizens of Ukraine. This was reported by the dictator's press service on November 22.
Lukashenko's press secretary Natalya Eismont said that "the pardon of the Ukrainians occurred by agreement with Donald Trump and at the request of the Ukrainian side."
"In development of the agreement reached between U.S. President Donald Trump and Alexander Lukashenko, at the request of the Ukrainian side, in order to create conditions for the settlement of the armed conflict in the neighboring country, guided by the principles of humanism and as a gesture of goodwill, the President pardoned 31 citizens of Ukraine who committed criminal offenses on the territory of our country. Literally now, in these minutes, their transfer to the Ukrainian side is taking place," Eismont said.
