Eyewitnesses confirmed the hit.
On the afternoon of November 23, a fragment of a missile fired by Russia's Pantsir S1 air defense system fell on a residential high-rise building in the village of Dubovoye in Belgorod district, "Pepel Belgorod" writes with reference to eyewitnesses. People said that they heard the launch of a rocket and immediately after that there was an explosion "near the house on Yagodnaya Street, 1." According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. Judging by the footage from the scene and comments of witnesses, the shrapnel hit the area of the fourth floor of the five-story building. Part of the building's outer skin was torn off, and several windows were also damaged. After the impact, a thick cloud of dust and debris rose near the building. "Our missile hit the [quadro]copter," says the author of the video.
"Ashes" writes that a local school, which is 100 meters away from the attacked apartment building, was damaged. All these damages are "too big for a UAV strike," the journalists emphasize.
