Belarus has received another battery of anti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-M2", reported in the Defense Ministry.
The Ministry noted that the arrival of these SAMs is "a striking example of fruitful military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in the framework of improving the unified air defense system."
"The arrival of a new batch of anti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-M2" for the brigade is an increase in combat capabilities and, in general, the ability to perform the tasks of air defense of the assigned purpose. The brigade personnel have mastered this type of anti-aircraft missile system and are ready to use it in any environment. The excellent rating received for the results of live firing during the operational-tactical exercise with the branches of the armed forces is a vivid confirmation of this. This type of anti-aircraft missile system also proved itself perfectly during a special military operation. It is highly mobile, has a short reaction time and is capable of simultaneously destroying a wide range of air targets, including unmanned aerial vehicles," said the commander of the Pavel Grebenchuk anti-aircraft missile brigade.
It is noted that the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system provides effective air defense of designated facilities and is also capable of performing combat missions in difficult climatic conditions.
