Ukraine Identifies 'red Lines' In Peace Plan Talks

No changes will be made to the Constitution.

Ukraine will not recognize Russia's occupation of any territories and will not agree to any changes to the Constitution as part of a potential peace agreement.

The deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Alexander Bevz, told Radio Liberty in an interview.

"We have voiced that Ukraine will not accept any recognitions, Ukraine will not make any changes to the Constitution," Bevz stressed.

According to him, these are the "red lines" that the Ukrainian people have outlined.

"There is nothing to talk about from the Ukrainian point of view. We will see what will be formulated as a result of this negotiation process. But the position of the state leadership, it seems to me, has not changed in this matter"" - noted the deputy head of the OP.

Bevz emphasized that the issues of Ukraine's territorial integrity are fundamental and cannot be bargained.

According to him, sensitive points of the US peace plan should be discussed directly by Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky.
