"And on what we ourselves will do to protect our state, our people, our Ukrainian national rights. Now equally important is our defense of positions, our resistance on the front and joint work with partners for the sake of better diplomatic positions," the country's leader emphasized.

Zelensky said that Ukraine's key task is to defend positions. He noted that the stronger the Ukrainian defense on the front, the more Kiev will be able to achieve in diplomacy, and the world will help pressure the Russian Federation to end the war.

In addition, he recalled the sanctions against the Russian Federation, which will be in place if Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not want to stop.

"The priorities are clear - to hit Russian oil, Russian technological component, their finances, their assets that work for the Russian war machine. The world will help us," the country's president said.

In addition, Zelensky said that Ukrainian and American delegations will meet as early as this week to work on the points of the US peace plan.
