A fire was recorded in the area of Sakskaya CHPP in Crimea on the territory of the scientific and production association "Iodobrom".
The Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" writes about it on November 28 with reference to satellite imagery data.
It is noted that the plant is located about 250 meters away from the Sakskaya TPP.
Drones were flying in the area in the evening and at night, and gunshots and explosions were heard.
It is known that Iodobrom is engaged in the manufacture of chemical products; in particular, the company produces reactive "pure" iodine, reactive qualified potassium iodide, reactive potassium iodide, sodium iodide OSF, triiodmethane, dibromodiphenyl, epibromohydrin, trimethyloctadecylammonium bromide, tetrabrommethane, fire retardants - fine aluminum hydroxide, modified with various applications, on the basis of organobromine compounds, on the basis of ammonium polyphosphate.
In addition, the company produces non-standardized corrosion-resistant equipment made of titanium and stainless steel for chemical industries - in particular, tank equipment, fans, pumps, nutch filters and heat-exchangers.
