Media: Western Sanctions Have "destroyed" Russian Su-57 Fighter Jets

Russia cannot produce them.

From internal documents of the Russian company OKBM, which were obtained by InformNapalm and Fenix Cyber Center, it becomes clear that the Russian Federation cannot independently produce the necessary parts for the fifth-generation Su-57 fighters.

That is how international sanctions are "killing" the Russian fighter jet, writes the Spravdi Center for Strategic Communications.

"The documents show: Russia itself cannot produce key components for its 'fifth generation'. This requires imported high-precision machine tools and equipment from the EU and the United States," the report said.

The journalists explained that after the sanctions were imposed, supplies of the necessary components stopped, so the Russians have a shortage of production capacity.

"Because of this, programs to create and modernize aviation are regularly disrupted," the Center for Strategic Communications said.

They also stressed that purchases through China do not save the situation, since it is European and American equipment that is needed to produce the Su-57.

Experts noted that on October 23, 2025, OKBM was officially added to the 19th package of EU sanctions, which further slowed down the production of the Su-57 and other aircraft.

"The conclusion is simple: without Western technologies, Russia will not produce the "fifth generation." And sanctions continue to tighten the screws," Spravdi emphasized.
