Directors Of Large Belarusian Factories Received A Beating From The Ministry Of Industry

For failing critical metrics.

Some managers of large industrial enterprises will be brought to disciplinary penalties. The directors of MTZ, MAZ, BELAZ and other plants failed to meet the targets for exports, investments and profitability. The documents of the Ministry of Industry for November 2025 were at the disposal of "Zerkalo". We tell you the details.

Reprimands, reprimands, deprivation of bonuses

The order and resolution of the board of the Ministry of Industry are dated November 2025. They show that the agency is extremely dissatisfied with the work of the heads of the largest holdings. The reason is the failure to fulfill the key indicators given at the beginning of the year. Because of this, directors of several industrial giants will receive disciplinary punishment.

The harshest punishment was given to the management of Minsk Tractor Plant. The Ministry of Industry proposed to reprimand the general director of MTZ Sergei Avramenko. The reason - failure to fulfill the indicators on exports, return on sales and investment in fixed assets. The document specifies that Avramenko was also penalized for "insufficient work on the implementation of two special investment contracts in the Russian Federation". We are talking about the creation of production facilities in the Krasnodar region and Tatarstan.

In addition, the ministry decided to punish the MTZ management with a ruble: "To announce a reprimand, not to accrue and not to pay to the officials of the company all kinds of allowances and bonuses for October 2025".

The head of "Mogilevliftmash" Ruslan Strakhar for the failure of export of goods will also receive a reprimand. But other managers were reprimanded, which is also a disciplinary measure. General directors of the following large enterprises of the country were penalized for the failure of exports:

BELAZ Sergei Lesin;

Belkommunmash Taras Murog;

MAZ Valeri Ivankovich;

The head of MMZ Alexandr Botvinnik, general director of BMZ Dmitry Korchik and the head of BATE Alexandr Marchenko were reprimanded not only for problems with exports. The first was also reprimanded for failing to invest in fixed capital, the second for problems with profitability and net profit, and the third for excessive growth of products in warehouses.

The scale of the problems can be seen in the annexes to the resolution, which compare the planned tasks and actual performance for January - September 2025.

Atlant was supposed to produce 225,000 household washing machines during this period. In fact, only 89,104 units were produced.

Horizont Holding and Vityaz plant were supposed to produce a total of three million color TV sets. The actual output amounted to just under two million.

MTZ had a plan to produce 33,767 tractors for forestry and agriculture, but the actual output was 26,260. The situation with export of these tractors is even worse. It was planned to sell abroad 27,957 units, but only 16,834 units were sold.

MAZ has a serious lag. Instead of 6966 trucks, 5010 trucks left the assembly line.

BMZ was supposed to export 240 thousand tons of rolled ferrous metal products to the countries of the "far arc". The actual result was only 35 thousand tons.

The documents of the Ministry of Industry list a number of enterprises that made net losses. The list includes both small plants and large players:

"Amkodor";

"Gomselmash";

"Bobruiskagromash";

"Kirov Machine Building Plant";

"Atlant";

"Belji".

The Ministry also notes the growth of stocks of MTZ, MAZ, Belkommunmash, "Atlant", "Gomselmash" and others.
