The Ukrainian command is in no hurry to reveal details of the dislodging of Russian occupants from Kupyansk because of the use of "interesting tactics," military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov said.

"It is an interesting fact that officially very little is said about Kupyansk, although the situation there has improved a lot. I think that our command is in no hurry to give victory speeches because they want Kupyansk to be cleared 100%. There is a small plane left there. The units that defended Kupyansk and are fighting in the Kupyansk direction have used very interesting tactics," Zhirokhov said on air on Radio NV.

He believes that the information silence regarding the real situation in Kupyansk is due to the fact that neither the tactics nor the units involved in the Kupyansk operation are highlighted.

"But there is quite an interesting tactic there, which, I think, will be scaled up very quickly, and in the next street battles it will be used 100%, will be brought to the personnel, especially to the command staff. It turned out to be quite effective," Zhirokhov said.
