Zelensky Voiced The Number Of The AFU Included In The Draft Peace Agreement

According to the President of Ukraine, this item has been finalized.

In the draft of a possible peace agreement on Ukraine, a clause on the number of armed forces has indeed been agreed upon.

According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this during a conversation with journalists on December 11.

In particular, the president was asked whether the peace agreement really provides for limiting the number of troops in Ukraine. He replied that the document envisages maintaining the current real number of the Ukrainian army - about 800,000 troops.

The head of state recalled that in 2022 some proposals envisaged limiting the number of the AFU to 40-50,000, but now such figures are not considered.

"I believe that today we have sufficiently finalized this point," Zelensky replied.
