Ukraine's Economic Growth Accelerated To 5.3% In November

Despite the shelling of the energy industry.

In November 2025, Ukraine's real GDP growth accelerated to 5.3% against 2.3% in October. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The main drivers of acceleration were agriculture, domestic trade, construction and processing industry.

"The Ukrainian economy continues to grow despite power outages caused by massive attacks on critical infrastructure, business further adapts to difficult conditions. And at the same time Ukraine demonstrates more dynamic growth than Russia," said Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Alexey Sobolev.

The economic growth is supported by business development programs and international aid that stimulate domestic production. Budget funding for the restoration of damaged critical infrastructure, housing construction and purchases for the defense industry has also become an important factor.

In addition, the ministry says, structural changes in production continue: the share of high value-added industries is growing. Thus, the share of machine-building increased to 9% against 5.7% in 2021.

Capacity utilization in pharmaceuticals, furniture, woodworking, food and textile industries is increasing.
