Footage of the downing of a Russian An-22 military transport plane in Russia's Ivanovo region has appeared on the Web. The corresponding video was published by the Russian Telegram channel Mash on Sunday, December 14.

The footage shows the plane falling apart in mid-air. The Mash channel writes that the aircraft craft fell into the Uvodskoye Reservoir, New Voice reports .

The An-22 plane went down on December 9. As propaganda agency TASS wrote, citing operational services, there were seven crew members on board.

Telegram channel Mash wrote that the entire crew died in the crash. Preliminary cause of the fall was the steering actuators. They may have been poorly maintained before the flight, the report said.

An-22 is the world's largest turboprop aircraft designed to carry heavy and large-sized weapons.
