Powerful Explosions Are Heard Near Moscow

Russians complain of an attack by unknown drones.

On Sunday evening, December 14, drones are attacking the Moscow region. Russia complained that powerful explosions were heard on the approaches to Moscow.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

In the evening, publicks began to write that unknown drones were flying toward Moscow. Explosions were heard at least in the Moscow suburb of Kashira. At the same time in social networks appeared footage on which can be heard both the sounds of drones and the sounds of explosions.

In the meantime, the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin has not yet commented on the situation, and the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in the period from 16:00 to 20:00 allegedly shot down 56 drones, two of which in the Moscow region. Overall, according to the report, Russian air defense allegedly shot down:

24 drones - over the territory of Belgorod region;

17 drones - over the territory of Bryansk region;

5 drones - over the territory of Tula region;

3 drones - over the territory of Kursk region;

2 drones - over the territory of Kaluga region;

2 drones - over the territory of Ryazan region;

2 drones - over the territory of Moscow region;

1 drone - over the territory of Voronezh region.

Official comments on the consequences in the Moscow region have not yet been made.
