Germany Plans To Receive Babariko And Kolesnikova

This was stated by the Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Germany plans to receive ex-political prisoners Viktor Babariko and Maria Kolesnikova

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt told the ARD TV channel, DW reports.

"We will accept at least two outstanding figures of the democratic movement from Belarus, because we are interested in seeing that this democratic movement, even if it has to develop outside the country, is strengthened," he said.

On a clarifying question about whom we are talking about, the head of the German Interior Ministry said that they would be Maria Kolesnikova and Viktor Babariko, "who played a great role in the democratic movement" and were recently released from the Belarusian prison.

Now 109 released Belarusian political prisoners are in Ukraine.
