They will continue tomorrow morning.
Talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations in Berlin lasted more than five hours, the sides agreed to continue working tomorrow morning, "Suspilne" reported, citing the Ukrainian presidential office.
The German publication Handelsblatt reported earlier that the talks would continue on December 15.
It noted that it was unknown what exactly the delegations were discussing, but the United States had tentatively "recognized the prospects for success of the talks" as it had sent a delegation to Germany.
The meeting with Trump's representatives was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and was also attended by Friedrich Merz.
The U.S. side is represented, in particular, by special envoy to the U.S. president Steve Whitkoff and the U.S. leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
On December 13, during an evening video message, the Ukrainian president said that his meeting with representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine's European partners regarding a political agreement to end the war should take place in the coming days.
