Ukraine Hit By Fourth Earthquake In Recent Days

This time in Khmelnitsky region.

This morning, December 15, there was an earthquake in Ukraine. This is reported by the Main Center for Special Control, writes unian.net.

It is noted that the tremors were recorded at 06:12. The earthquake occurred in Dunayevets district of Khmelnitsky region. Its magnitude was 1.7, and the epicenter lay at a depth of 5 km.

"According to the classification of earthquakes refers to barely perceptible", - experts noted.

In recent days in Ukraine regularly recorded earthquakes. Thus, on December 11, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 occurred in Ternopil region - scientists attributed it to tangible.

In the evening of December 12, tremors were recorded in the Black Sea about 12 km from the coast of Crimea. The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4.

The next day, December 13, the earthquake occurred in the Dniester district of Chernivtsi region. Its magnitude reached 2.5 - the tremors were also barely perceptible.

The earthquake in Khmelnitsky region became the fourth earthquake recorded in Ukraine in recent days.
