Ukraine Proposes To Jam Mobile Communication In Belarus

Because of the drone attacks.

Ukrainian expert Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov reported on the probable use of Belarusian cellular operators' stations near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border by Russians in drone attacks based on the findings of the Molfar Intelligence Institute, writes "Flagstaff".

The closest such stations to the Kiev and Chernigov regions are in the Gomel region.According to the expert, SIM-cards of the Russian operator with a package of roaming services in Belarus are put in the modems of drones:

"Russian SIM-cards do not work on the territory of Ukraine in roaming, but by raising the antennas at the border base stations of mobile communication in Russia and Belarus in the sky, Russian Shaheds get a data channel for several dozens of kilometers deep into Ukraine. And it is possible to check the status of the modem (shot down or not shot down Shahed) even at 70-90 kilometers."

The expert suggested "finding such base stations and destroying them" on Russian territory and wondered what to do with Belarusian stations:

"We are not attacking RB, but if we prove that the border mobile stations of Belarus are used by Shaheds (and this is quite realistic to do), we can with a clear conscience jam the receiving frequencies of these stations with REB from our territory during alarms and Shaheds near the borders."

He also suggested that the Russians' experiments with testing a set of SIM cards from different countries are linked to plans to operate trackers in UAVs in the European Union.
