The Russian Supreme Court ruled in favor of Polina Lurie in the case of singer Larisa Dolina's apartment.

Dolina's lawsuit (she was formally the plaintiff, as she insisted on the cancellation of the transaction) was rejected, the Supreme Court left the ownership of the apartment to Lurie, writes "Meduza".

The case of Dolina's forced eviction from the apartment, where she actually still lives, the court sent for a new consideration in the appeal instance.

The court of first instance and the Moscow City Court ruled in favor of Dolina. They recognized the sale transaction as invalid, and the singer - the owner of the apartment. At the same time, the courts ruled that Dolina may not return the money to Lurie, as she sold the apartment under the influence of fraudsters, to whom she subsequently gave the funds received from the buyer.

The process attracted widespread public attention, the vast majority of commentators considered the decision unfair, because of which Lurie, who bought housing legally, was left both without an apartment and without money. Larisa Dolina began to "cancel" in social networks. Against the background of criticism, the singer declared her readiness to voluntarily return the money for the apartment to Lurie.
