The UK Has Made Its Largest Annual Investment In Ukrainian Air Defense Systems

London has allocated $805 million to Kiev.

The UK government has allocated $805 million to strengthen Ukraine's air defense (air defense). This was announced by the head of the British Ministry of Defense John Healey during a speech at a meeting of the contact group on military supplies to the republic in the Ramstein format, broadcast by Sky News TV channel.

"Today I can confirm the largest annual investment of the UK in the air defense of Ukraine: 600 million pounds ($805 million dollars - note.) and thousands of air defense systems, missiles and automated turrets to destroy drones," the minister said.

Healey added that the arms deliveries will begin to be implemented this year and will continue throughout 2026. Also, according to him, the UK plans to transfer new Octopus interceptor drones to Ukraine.
