The Ukrainian Defense Forces made a commander of an assault unit of the Russian Armed Forces' 121st Motorized Rifle Regiment with the call sign "Lavrik" a "cargo 200," writes "Dialog.UA".

"Lavrik" was used by the Russian Defense Ministry and Russian propaganda to report on the supposed successes of the offensive on Kupyansk. For example, the military department released a video with it on November 6.
"I am sure that within the next week the city will be completely liberated. Everyone is in a fighting mood. We will fulfill the task," the assault commander said in it. After that, in similar videos he repeated almost daily statements about the allegedly inevitable capture of the western part of Kupyansk and about the "mass surrender" of the Ukrainian defenders. The reality turned out to be different.
On December 16, Z-channels recognized that Lavrik became "cargo 200" during another attempt to advance near Kupyansk. One of the symbols of Russian fake reports was destroyed directly on the direction he had publicly lied about.
It should be noted that in the last month the head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov and dictator Vladimir Putin repeatedly claimed the complete capture of Kupyansk. These claims had nothing to do with reality.
On December 12, this lie was publicly exposed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who arrived in the city and recorded a video message to Ukrainians against the background of a stele with the name of Kupyansk. Ukrainian defense forces are successfully continuing to clear the town of the remnants of Russian attackers.
The situation of Russian units on this section of the front is rapidly deteriorating: part of the group is encircled, other units are forced to retreat beyond the Oskol River, fleeing for their lives.
