The U.S. president denied Lavrov and Ushakov's statements.

US President Donald Trump commented on Russian claims of a drone strike on Putin's residence

"I don't know anything, I just heard about it. If it is true, it's very unfortunate," Trump told reporters.

Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov earlier claimed that after a phone call with Putin, Trump was "shocked and outraged" by his report of the strike on his residence and allegedly said: "Thank God we didn't give Kiev Tomahawks."
