Belarusian Weather Probes Attacked Another Baltic Country

Eight aerial objects were recorded.

From the evening of November 23 to the morning of November 24, radar systems of the Latvian National Armed Forces detected several air objects that at different times crossed the Latvian-Belarusian border and entered the airspace of the Baltic country. After the first signals from their Lithuanian partners, the State Border Guard together with the State Police intercepted eight weather probes carrying illegal cigarettes, the Latvian Interior Ministry said, writes lsm.lv.

Once the information was received, operational measures were launched in several border areas in the east of the country: checking territories, patrolling and searching for objects.

"It is important to emphasize that the critical infrastructure is not Latvian responsible services are constantly monitoring the situation on the border.
