An An-24 passenger plane has disappeared in Russia's Amur region, Interfax reported on July 24, citing emergency services.

The An-24 aircraft was en route Khabarovsk-Blagoveshchensk-Tynda. According to the agency's interlocutor, the aircraft failed to pass control near the terminus. There is no connection with the plane, writes "Meduza".

The Emergencies Ministry confirmed the disappearance of a passenger An-24 in the Amur region, rescuers were sent to search for it. According to the head of the Amur region Vasily Orlov, according to preliminary data, 43 passengers, including five children, and six crew members were on board the plane.
