Gas supply to consumers is carried out through the second branch.

A gas pipeline ruptured in a potato field near Atolino agricultural town near Minsk. There were no casualties, the Emergency Ministry reported.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the rupture was 700 mm in diameter, causing a crater. But there were no casualties. There is no gas odor.

The agency added that gas supply to consumers is not disrupted, and the cause of the incident is being established. The gas service is working on the site, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is monitoring the situation.

The Mingaza reported that in the evening of July 24 around 8:45 p.m., a gas pipeline depressurized at the main gas pipeline of GazpromTransgazBelarus.

"Currently, the gas escape has been localized. Gas supply to consumers in Minsk and Minsk district is carried out through the second line. There is no restriction in gas supply to consumers," noted in "Mingaza".

Gazprom Transgaz Belarus said that there was a sudden gas outflow from the gas pipeline, which had not been put into operation:

"There was no fire. The situation has been completely localized, there are no casualties. Gas service specialists are working on the site."

The reasons for the incident are being investigated.
