Lukashenko Ready For "any Kind" Of Cooperation With Iran

President Pezeshkian flew to Minsk.

Lukashenko said he was ready to discuss any issues with Iran - from cooperation in food supplies to the military-technical sphere. The dictator said this at a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Minsk on August 20.

Pezeshkian noted the fact that the two regimes have common positions and views on common issues of global importance, as well as the fact that both Iran and Belarus are under Western sanctions.

It is noteworthy that the Iranian president's visit will take place against the backdrop of Alexander Lukashenko's increasingly open contacts with the United States authorities and, at the same time, tensions between the United States and Iran.
