The First Information About The Detained Suspect In Parubiy's Murder Has Appeared

A detained 52-year-old Lviv man has been informed of suspicion of murder of the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on Monday, August 31.
It is noted that the head of the Lviv regional prosecutor's office Nikolay Meret personally signed a notice of suspicion in this case.
According to him, "suspicion is based on objective evidence indicating the commission by the detained person of the murder of a people's deputy".
The actions of 52-year-old Lviv resident are qualified under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely: part 1 of article 115 (premeditated murder) and part 1 of article 263 (illegal handling of weapons).
Now with the suspect continue investigative actions. Searches at the places of his residence and stay continue.
A petition to the court is being prepared to elect a measure of restraint for the suspect in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.
