Poland Calls Urgent Government Meeting Over Russian Drone Attack

Territorial Defense troops have been warned of immediate deadlines to report for duty.

Poland is calling an emergency government meeting for 8:00 (9:00 Minsk time) due to the massive violation of the country's airspace by Russian drones, TVN24 reports.

The command has warned those belonging to the Territorial Defense Forces of immediate deadlines to report for duty in several regions - if the relevant conscription order is issued and summonses are issued.

In the areas marked in red on the map below (covering Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships), the time to report for duty has been reduced to six hours, while in the "yellow" areas - those belonging to the Territorial Defense Forces must be ready to report for duty within 12 hours.

The Territorial Defense Troops - (WOT) is the fifth branch of the Polish Armed Forces after the Army, Air Force, Navy and Special Forces. This force consists of both professional military and volunteers.
