Polish Publicist: We Need An Asymmetric Response

Witold Jurasz offered several scenarios for responding to the Russian drone incursion.

Former Charge d'Affaires of Poland in Belarus, publicist Witold Jurasz writes for onet.pl what should be Warsaw's response to the mass invasion of Russian drones:

- There are many scenarios of our reaction. We can, by the way, learn from the Russians, who have used the phrase "asymmetric response" for years.

- Perhaps a Polish drone should land on a field or on an element of Russian infrastructure in the Kaliningrad region. We could also use the Russians' actions as a pretext to impose additional economic sanctions. How exactly we respond is not so important. The main thing is that the Russians should be hurt more than we are - only then can we hope that there will be no further escalation.

The most important thing in all of this is that before we respond to the Russians, we answer ourselves the question of how to achieve this key goal. Our response should hurt them, not us. Russian provocation against us and, more broadly, against the entire West, unfortunately also has to be answered.
