The Times: The Leader Of Nepal's "Z Revolution" Was Chosen Using ChatGPT
Karki Dryer

The rebellious Zoomers, who quickly overthrew the government, faced a problem in choosing a leader.

Sushila Karki, who is being called the head of Nepal's interim government to represent the rebels in talks with the military, has been chosen for the role by an artificial intelligence. This is reported by The Times.

According to the newspaper, the rebel Zumera, who quickly overthrew the country's government, faced a far more difficult problem in choosing who they thought should lead the country's new interim government. They delegated the task to artificial intelligence.

The ChatGPT first offered the online forum Youth Against Corruption four possible candidates - engineer and Oxford graduate Sagar Dhakal, former education minister Sumana Shrestha, rapper and part-time metropolitan mayor Balen Shah, and Sushila Karki, who served as chief justice of the country's Supreme Court in 2016-2017.

In the second phase, the artificial intelligence was asked to indicate the most suitable candidate to head the interim government. "If given a choice, I would lean in favor of Sushila Karki as head of the interim government," the chatbot replied to the query, adding that it would recommend rapper Shah for the role of head of the already permanent government.

73-year-old Karki has already been asked to become the head of the interim government and she has responded by accepting it.
