The Swedish Armed Forces released the footage.

The Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten) has released photos of Russian MiG-31 jets that violated Estonian airspace on September 19.

The photos were taken by Swedish JAS 39 Gripen aircraft during an interception of Russian fighter jets over the Baltic Sea, the Försvarsmakten.

"Today, after violating Estonian airspace, Swedish JAS 39 fighter jets intercepted and tracked three Russian MiG-31 fighters over the Baltic Sea. "Sweden is always ready together with allies to ensure the safety, security and integrity of our airspace," reads the caption to the released photos.

It is noted that the Russian planes were armed with R-73 air-to-air missiles.

Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal said that violating the airspace of a NATO member state is unacceptable, so Tallin will initiate consultations with allies.

"This morning 3 Russian MiG-31 fighter jets invaded Estonian airspace. NATO fighters responded and the Russian planes were forced to flee. Such a violation is totally unacceptable. The Estonian government has decided to ask NATO for consultations in accordance with Article 4," Michal wrote.

It should be noted that Article 4 of NATO's charter stipulates that NATO member states can initiate consultations when, in their opinion, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the members is threatened.
