Peskov found another excuse.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin remains open to a negotiated settlement of the situation in Ukraine and also expects to continue working with the United States on this issue. This was stated by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov, quoted by RosSMI.
He also suggested that during Donald Trump's visit to London, the US president was told a lot about plans to pressure Russia.
"This is not something that promotes a settlement. Putin values the constructive relationship he has with Trump and the opportunity to openly discuss the most pressing issues. And Putin, just like President Trump, maintains his interest and openness to bringing the whole Ukrainian story into the mainstream of a peaceful settlement," Peskov said.
