There Was An Earthquake In Turkey

It was felt in Istanbul and Izmir.

A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck in western Turkey's Balykesir province, the earthquake department of the republic's Interior Ministry's Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) said in a report in X.

The tremors were recorded at 00:05 (time coincides with Minsk) in the Sındırgi district.

According to CNN Turk, the quake struck at a depth of 7 kilometers and was felt in Istanbul and Izmir.
