On the evening of September 22, an attack by Ukrainian drones began on Russian territory, which flew as far as Moscow and the Moscow region. And passengers on a Dubai-Moscow flight were forced to spend the night on mattresses in the terminal of Nizhny Novgorod airport because of a drone attack on the Russian capital.

The SU-531 plane, which was due to land in Moscow at 21:56, made an emergency landing in Nizhny Novgorod. Passengers first waited almost three hours in the cabin before being transferred to the airport. There they were given mattresses and informed that the flight had been postponed until two o'clock in the afternoon.
