Trump: Russian Economy In Terrible Shape

In the words of the president of the United States, it's crumbling.

The biggest progress on ending Russia's war on Ukraine right now is that the Russian economy is in terrible shape.

U.S. President Donald Trump said this during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

Trump was asked about progress on ending the war in Ukraine since his last meeting with Zelensky.

"The biggest progress is that the Russian economy is in terrible shape right now. It's collapsing. Frankly, Ukraine is doing a very good job of stopping this very large army (Russian, - ed.)," the U.S. president said.
