Belarus Will Produce Weapons For The Russian Army

The Belarusian manufacturer signed a contract with the Tula Cartridge Plant.

Orsha manufacturer of automatic rifles, sniper rifles, silencers, ammunition, optics and equipment "Kidma Tek" concluded at the exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus" contact with the Tula Cartridge Plant.

It was signed by the director of TPZ Sergey Lukin and the director of JSC "Kidma Tech" Alexander Boligatov in the presence of the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev and the head of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Dmitry Pantus.

According to "Tulapressa", it was officially announced at the exhibition that it was a "contract for the supply of civilian products." However, it was repeatedly reported earlier that the Kidma Tech plant works specifically for military needs.

Kidma Tech (formerly called BSVT-New Technologies) was one of the first Belarusian enterprises to fall under international sanctions. This happened within the framework of the European Union's Package 5 adopted in December 2021 (also joined by the US, UK and Canada) for organizing the migration crisis.

In 2024, Iraqi arms company Black Shield fell under US sanctions, which, as the document stated, purchased and resold arms to the Belarusian company Kidma Tech.

Tula Cartridge Factory is also under sanctions of many countries as a supplier of products for the war against Ukraine.
