Warsaw will respond to provocations.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has warned the Lukashenko regime about the possibility of applying "special measures" in response to joint military exercises "West-2025" with Russia near the Polish borders. He said this at a press conference, TPV reported.
Tusk called the exercises a training exercise for attacking Poland and noted that if provocations from the Belarusian side are repeated, Poland will take swift retaliatory action. He also stressed that NATO and its allies would conduct their own maneuvers on Polish territory in response to the exercises near its borders. The exercise is called "Iron Defender" and involves about 34,000 military personnel and 600 pieces of equipment.
The West-2025 exercise will take place in Belarus from September 12 to 16.
The Lukashenko regime earlier warned the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Kiev warned that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will respond to possible provocations.
