Iran's Prince Says New Phase Of Uprising Underway

Reza Pahlavi called on protesters to seize government offices and embassies.

The son of former Shah of Iran and heir to the throne, Reza Pahlavi called on Iranians to seize state institutions inside the country and embassies around the world.

On his X page, he published an address announcing the start of a "new phase of national uprising" to overthrow the Islamic Republic regime.

Pehlavi called for all institutions responsible for propagandizing the regime and cutting off communications to be considered "legitimate targets".

He said employees of state institutions as well as members of the armed and security forces should make a choice to "side with the people or participate in the murder of their people."

He also called on Iranians living abroad to seize Iran's diplomatic institutions.

"All Iranian embassies and consulates belong to the Iranian people. It is time to decorate them with the national flag of Iran instead of the shameful flag of the Islamic Republic," Pahlavi emphasized.
