Trump 'leaked' Correspondence With Macron

U.S. President Donald Trump has shared a snippet of his communication with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

The snippet he posted on the social network Truth Social.

Macron's message begins by emphasizing a common position on Syria and Iran.

"I don't understand what you are doing with Greenland," Macron writes to Trump, according to the snippet.

Macron also suggests the G7 countries meet in Paris on Thursday and suggests the two heads of state have dinner together.

"I can invite the Ukrainians, the Danes, the Syrians and the Russians to meet on the margins," Macron wrote.
