U.S. President Donald Trump following the leaked correspondence with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron also shared a screenshot of a message from NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The screenshot he shared on the social network Truth Social.

Mark Rutte praises Trump in the message for his efforts in Syria and other parts of the world.

- I will use my media contacts in Davos to emphasize your work there, in Gaza and in Ukraine," the message says.

The secretary-general also mentions Greenland.

- I am eager to find progress on Greenland," he writes to Trump.

Rutte concludes the message as follows:

- I can't wait to meet you. Your Mark, Secretary General of NATO," he writes to Trump.
