If necessary, the new strike will be even more powerful.
Donald Trump has said that the US is prepared for a "second wave" attack on Venezuela if necessary. According to the American president, it would then be more powerful.
Also, US President Donald Trump said Nicolas Maduro is no longer president of Venezuela and personally led the Cartel de los Soles drug cartel.
"We have absolute proof of Maduro's guilt that will be presented to the court. He personally ran the cartel that supplied the drugs that caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people," Trump said. He said it will soon be decided where Maduro will be sent - New York, Miami or Florida - and he and his wife will feel the full force of American justice.
Trump also announced plans to invest in rebuilding Venezuela's oil infrastructure through major U.S. companies to make the country rich, independent and safe.
"No longer will Maduro threaten the people of America," the US president stressed.
Reminder, today, January 3, the United States delivered a series of strikes on Venezuela's capital Caracas.
Later, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the US had successfully carried out a large-scale operation against Venezuela. President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife, was captured and flown out of the country.
