There Was A Shooting Near The Presidential Palace In Venezuela

Drones have been spotted.

On the evening of Monday, January 5, in the Venezuelan capital Caracas near the presidential palace Miraflores there was a shooting.

It was reported by CNN.

It is noted that the video from the scene, the geolocation of which was confirmed by journalists, in the sky recorded light objects, probably drones, as well as the work of air defense means.

The cause and circumstances of the incident are still unknown.

At the same time, a White House spokesperson said in comments to the TV station that they are closely following reports of the shooting in Venezuela, but noted that "the United States is not involved."

On January 5, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez officially became the country's interim president. The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by Parliament Speaker Jorge Rodriguez.
