Tusk After Paris Meeting: Poland To Take Key Role In Ukraine Aid Logistics

A declaration of a "coalition of the resolute" is signed in Paris.

Each of the tasks related to the process of assistance to Ukraine has its own national leader - Poland will be the leading country in the field of logistics.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said this after a meeting of the "coalition of the resolute" in Paris.

Reminder, representatives of 35 countries gathered in Paris to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.

Prime Minister Tusk also said during a speech in Paris that "it is too early to make too optimistic statements."

The head of the Polish government noted that in order to effectively pressure Russia, it is necessary to clarify the common position of the EU, the US and other countries of the coalition of resolute.

"Every week we are getting closer to concrete decisions," Tusk assured, adding that on Tuesday in Paris they discussed, in particular, how countries understand their role in security guarantees for Kiev.

"Poland will fulfill all tasks in the field of logistics to support Ukraine, it will be the leading state in this area," the Prime Minister said. Each task has its own national leader.

Tusk noted that partners do not expect the presence of Polish troops in Ukraine.
