The new RCZ Vision is an electric coupe featuring the technologies of the future.
Peugeot has unveiled the RCZ Vision concept—an electric sports coupe with 500 л. с. of power, a solid-state battery, and a range of up to 600 km. The model revives the RCZ name and showcases a potential direction for the brand’s design and technology.
This was reported by Motor1.

The car is 4.65 m long, 1.94 m wide, and just 1.35 m tall. Peugeot used paint made from recycled aluminum for the body finish. Thanks to its aerodynamic shape and slim battery, the company expects to achieve energy consumption of 11.5 kWh per 100 km, though this figure has not yet been confirmed.

The battery provides a range of up to 600 km
The Peugeot RCZ Vision is equipped with a solid-state battery just 110 mm thick, developed in collaboration with Factorial Energy. It operates on a 1,000-volt electrical system. The claimed range is up to 600 km, and charging from 10% to 80% is expected to take 10 minutes.

The powertrain delivers 500 l. s. However, Peugeot has not specified whether the vehicle will feature rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The previous gasoline-powered version of the RCZ was front-wheel drive.
Square steering wheel and new technologies in the cabin
The concept showcases the next generation of the brand’s i-Cockpit system. Instead of a traditional steering wheel, the car features a square Hypersquare control unit that works in conjunction with an electronic steering system with no mechanical connection to the front wheels.

According to Peugeot, this technology makes maneuvering easier at low speeds and provides better stability at high speeds. The company also plans to introduce a production version of the Hypersquare in the next generation of the E-208 electric vehicle.
Other features include transparent Micro LED displays, the ability to turn off the center screen, electronic brake control, and Level 2++ automated driving with a hands-off function under conditions specified by the system.

The four-seat cabin is designed for comfort during long trips. The interior features Alcantara, reclaimed leather, and brushed aluminum. The rear seats are designed for two adult passengers and fold down to increase luggage space. An additional interior feature is a clock created in collaboration with the French watchmaker SERICA.
The Peugeot RCZ Vision remains a concept car for now. The manufacturer has not confirmed that the coupe will enter series production, so the stated specifications and technologies are not yet final for the future production model.
