Lionel Messi played his final match for the Argentine national team. The legendary captain helped the team secure a convincing victory over Benin in a friendly match and left a lasting impression in his farewell game.

The home team secured a convincing 3–0 victory, with Messi emerging as the star of the match.
The Argentine captain played a direct role in all three of his team’s scoring plays. First, the 39-year-old player set up his teammates twice—Nicolás Otamendi and Nico Pasu.
In the second half, it was Messi’s turn to shine. The legendary forward converted a penalty kick to seal the victory.
