Following the liquidation of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran will be temporarily run by a council that will include the president and the head of the judiciary.

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary and a member of the constitutional guardian council will temporarily lead Iran after the death of the supreme leader.

The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Mohber as saying.
