Lukashenko Had To Let Go Of Lithuanian Trucks

Did U.S. pressure work?

The State Customs Committee of Belarus announced that the return of Lithuanian trucks, which had been in special parking lots since November last year, had begun.

According to various data, 185 Lithuanian trucks remained in Belarus at the beginning of December. Initially, 1,100 trucks were not released from the territory of the country. They were banned from leaving the country after Lithuania temporarily closed the border with Belarus because of weather probes flying from our country with contraband.

It should be noted that Lithuania consulted with the United States on the return of its trucks, seized by Lukashenko's regime.

The dictator said that the trucks would be released on March 20, the day after the meeting with the special envoy of the U.S. President John Cole.
